I'm close to turning it off when I play CS:GO because I can't keep losing focus right when an enemy and I spot each other in competitive. I wish I could just update to the newest version right away. I might uninstall/reinstall, but that'd ruin my blacklist/whitelist. Now, from doing a little bit of research I realize I'm just two versions behind, but it's a pain to update if you aren't within two versions of the latest (it happens). That's one of the features that people wanted the premium version for (which is what I have). I hate seeing this pop up my taskbar at the bottom of the screen with a note to update. It could be while playing games (many CS:GO games have been ruined because of this). I'd be fine with it, but it steals focus from my current window.
I get this popup asking every hour or half hour that tells me to update. The version I have (3.) and previous versions that have a similar popup in the bottom right corner for updates are a pain. I've been using Malwarebytes for years and haven't had a problem.
