I'm close to turning it off when I play CS:GO because I can't keep losing focus right when an enemy and I spot each other in competitive. I wish I could just update to the newest version right away. I might uninstall/reinstall, but that'd ruin my blacklist/whitelist. If they still do it, look into that.Īnyways, I'm not sure if it's actually updating or not, since I've given up on trying to keep it up to date. You pay like a subscription for MWB? I have lifetime. But it's your own installed software nagging you now. It's like being back in the days of popup ads. Why? I just want to not have interruptions. I have disabled "Notify me when full version updates are available", "Show Malwarebytes notifications in the Windows System Tray", and "Notify me if time since last update exceeds 24 hours". The longer your startup takes, the worse.īut anyways, what I'm posting for is the awful notification popups. Now, from doing a little bit of research I realize I'm just two versions behind, but it's a pain to update if you aren't within two versions of the latest (it happens). That's one of the features that people wanted the premium version for (which is what I have). I hate seeing this pop up my taskbar at the bottom of the screen with a note to update. It could be while playing games (many CS:GO games have been ruined because of this). I'd be fine with it, but it steals focus from my current window.

I get this popup asking every hour or half hour that tells me to update. The version I have (3.) and previous versions that have a similar popup in the bottom right corner for updates are a pain. I've been using Malwarebytes for years and haven't had a problem.
